Why not just use 3D Slicer?

Manual, case-by-case work Threshold-based segmentation in Slicer requires per-scan manual adjustment. Metal artifacts, thin cortical bone, and low-contrast soft tissue boundaries all require operator intervention.
Non-manifold output Slicer's default marching cubes export produces self-intersecting triangles and non-watertight geometry. You'll spend more time cleaning the mesh than creating it.
No batch capability One scan at a time. If you need 50 spines segmented by Friday, you need 50 manual sessions.

What we do differently

Deep-learning segmentation — not thresholding. Trained models per anatomy that handle real-world scan artifacts.
Topologically clean STL — watertight, manifold, ready for CAD/CAM, 3D printing, or navigation registration.
Batch processing — 10 cases or 500. Same pipeline, same output structure, same QA layers.
Offline infrastructure — segmentation runs entirely offline on an isolated GPU node; your DICOM data is never routed to third-party cloud services.
Human-in-the-Loop QA — every output is reviewed with expert human sign-off. Multi-planar overlays, ISO renders, and provenance metadata delivered per case.

DICOM series folders, compressed NIfTI, and NRRD volumes are all accepted. Multi-frame DICOM and zipped series both supported. If you have a format not listed, reach out — we can likely accommodate it.
